Sage Groups — Learn. Grow. Heal. Together.
Upcoming Sage Groups: Fall 2026
10 Tuesdays, September 29 - December 1, 2:00 - 3:15pm Eastern on Zoom.
This group especially welcomes those with persistent symptoms due to a complex, nuanced mix of factors, including both “structural” and “neuroplastic.”
✨ This is a small group discussion-based educational and supportive experience where I teach the 4 pillars of my practice -- Self Trust, Agency, Growth, and Engagement -- and guide you as you integrate what you learn to help you in your day to day life.
✨ During the first hour of each meeting, we will discuss the week's theme, and for the last 15 minutes, I will lead a live guided somatic tracking practice related to that theme. The guided practice will be recorded and sent to you to keep 🎁. We will not record the conversation beforehand unless everyone agrees to it.
✨ The focus of the group is not on symptoms (you've had enough of that!). Rather we focus our attention on building the skills that will help you live a full and connected life, regardless of what's happening in your body or the world.
✨ Those with persistent and/or 'structural' conditions are especially welcome. I've been a bit of an iconoclast in the field since 2021 for calling out the false binary of "structural vs neuroplastic." No matter where you are on this complex, nuanced, and dynamic spectrum, you do not have to wait until you're "better" to start living your life again.
✨ We will not focus on "Recovery" (which only keeps you thinking about symptoms). We will focus on Healing, which goes much deeper and is far more empowering (and reliable).
✨ People often make long-lasting friendships in these groups.
✨ We actually have some fun ☺️

✨ The Sage Group program fee is $600, which includes an abundance of exclusive recordings, documents, and other resources.
Recent Reviews for Sage Groups
“This group has given me the tools key to living a full, open-hearted life going forward.”
— Emilie Wilcox (Winter 2025 participant)
"Lara's group is truly unique. It felt like a wonderful safe space, and the connections between the participants were rich and deep. I have not been in a group where there were such authentic sharing and similarity among participants. Lara is a really skilled facilitator who uses her lived experience with both structural and neuroplastic pain as a source of deep wisdom and understanding. I left the group feeling safer in my body, and less fearful and judgmental of my symptoms. This group is a great option for those of us caught in the 'messy middle' between structural and neuroplastic symptoms.”
— Kim (Winter 2026 partipant)
“Working with Lara has truly been game changing.”
— Terri D. (2023 & 2025 participant)
“I came into the group with a complicated history of chronic pain, structural injuries, numerous surgeries, a tethered spinal cord, and a nervous system that has been through a lot. I have spent a very long time trying to “heal enough” before allowing myself to really live again. As I began to question that narrative, I saw Lara’s YouTube video “Healing is a River.” Her story deeply resonated with me and one of the biggest shifts I experienced through Lara’s work was fully dissolving the myth that one needs to reach the “other side of the river” before getting to have a fulfilling life. The Sage Method is kind of like the horizon line (I was a pilot), aka a great way to orient myself when fear, symptoms, shame, or old survival patterns start taking over.
What stood out most about Lara was her presence. She brings a rare mix of compassion, lived experience, steadiness, and intuition. I never felt judged or pushed. Her somatic meditations were some of the most helpful parts of the group for me, because they helped me connect with my body without forcing anything or turning it into another thing to “fix.”.”
— Matt Carr (Spring 2026 participant)
“Lara is a wonderful group leader. Through her skillful leadership, she fostered an atmosphere of support, acceptance and compassion. This led to an actual experience of safety, healing, and nervous system regulation in the group, rather than a focus on learning tools and techniques. Lara responded to each participant comment with validation and attunement, and really created a special space of openness and honesty, where people felt seen, heard, supported and accepted.”
— Carol (Winter 2026 participant)
